JOE G. has been training in Kenpo for over 20 years.  He began his training at East West Karate in Southington in 1988 under 4th degree black belt Jeffrey M. Tucker, who was a student of Ed Parkers. n June of 1992 Joe was promoted to black belt and began his teaching career.  In July of 2003 he was promoted to 2nd degree black belt by the I.K.K.A (International Kenpo Karate Association).  He currently trains under Paul Zaniewski, a 5th degree black belt and Richard “Huk” Planas, a 10th degree black belt and direct student of Ed Parker.  
     Joe has trained for many years in the stick and knife arts such as Kali and Modern Arnis.  He has worked with world famous martial artists such as George Dillman in Kyushu Jitsu (pressure-points) and Master Wally Jay (small circle Ju-Jitsu). Joe has instructed over 200 students - both children and adults) in Ed Parkers American Kenpo.  Even after being involved for over 20 years he still considers himself a student of the arts and will always be.  He always keeps an open mind when training and is constantly learning.  Joe has many years of experience in nutrition and physical conditioning.  He looks forward to training you at CT Combat.
